Overweight, fun-loving social worker EVE, 34, is burying her head in the sand. A custody battle for daughter TAYLOR is looming and she facing diabetes and disciplinary action at work. Forced to take on a difficult case, Eve forms an unlikely friendship with RUBY, 60, a foul-mouthed hoarder living alone in a crumbling house that’s packed with junk. Instead of sorting the mess with the young environmental officer PHOENIX, Eve and Ruby drink whiskey together and share spliffs.
